You may know that we have a rabbit, if not, her name is Chippy. She was an English Spot. We rescued her from someone that didn't want her anymore six years ago.
We had to put her down yesterday. She was having kidney issues, and she just stopped eating. It happened so quickly, she was having pooping issues, so, we called the vet; then less than 24 hours, I noticed that she hasn't been pooping. I called the vet, and we rushed her to the vet clinic.
Our vet said that she was in pain, she was nauseous, and she's sick. It was such a hard decision to make, even though it was best for her.
Here is when we said our good-byes.
In his hand is the life of every creature
and the breath of all mankind. Job 12:10
We miss her so dearly already. Child #1 had a hard time, and didn't understand why she won't be coming back from heaven.
Just this month, only 17 days of it.
I have lost my job, my car broke down (needed a new starter), Steve's car broke down (couple days ago), and Chippy's kidneys failed. It's been a hard and stressful month already.
This made me think of Job, when God put so much stress on him, he never gave up. We are still fortunate that we have each other, our families and friends, and God. No matter how tough things get, He is always there to support and guide us.
