Addiction to fabric video

Few months ago, I mentioned to Christine (of Click Photography) that I have been thinking about coming up with a video to show people my personality and my love for fabrics. She wanted to help! Of course, I couldn't say no. She's so talented that I can't say no when she offers to help! ;)

We figured out a time and ideas on what I was going to do. She came over one Sunday morning taking pictures.  We used the stenciled wall as the background. sigh. I love that wall.

So, here is the video that Christine helped put together for me.

What do you think of it? Do you like it?!?

I just want to say it one more time. Christine is the best, and I cannot thank or praise her enough!!

Operation Craft Room Part 2

[VERY] slowly, but surely...
the room is getting cleaned.

I'm hoping to have the walls painted by end of this year.

Here is the link to what the room used to look like.

Craft Table

Steve, my husband, made me a craft table from scratch as a surprise. He knew that I was going through sewing withdraws. He took a day off and worked on this beautiful table with his dad. He got the plans from Ana White.

It's currently hanging out in our garage. We're going to be staining the bottom off-white, and staining the top a dark cherry color. I'll post pictures as soon as it's completed!

I'm pretty excited! Since I won't be sewing much, I've been doing other things on the side to create a business identity. A new logo will be posted soon!

Hopefully when I do start sewing, I wouldn't worry about these other things. It would be sewing speed ahead!

operation craft/office

As you may know, we moved back in July... had a baby two days later.

We still have more to unpack, but... I'm going crazy not being able to get to my sewing machine!!!

So, here is my project. Remodeling our office for one half and craft room for the other half.

This is what it looks like currently.

look at this crazy mess!

I'm really hoping to get everything fixed up by next year... maybe? we'll see.
