Quilt of Valor part 3

I finally finished the back of the quilt. I made a mistake by not purchasing enough of the blue fabric. I went back to the store, and of course, they are sold out! bah!! I picked out the green fabric, and I think it turned out pretty well. I can't complain really. It's not ideal, but it's not bad.

Next week, I'll need pin the front side of the quilt, batting, and the back side.

I'm excited. I am not fully committed to the original idea of the v-shape stitching, because I'm not sure how it'll work with the stripe on the back. I was thinking of just 'stitch in ditch'. I'm going to keep thinking about this one. Do you have any thoughts?
